Unpacking

Just a short post to let you know that the move to Cromford went well and I am getting towards the end of the unpacking. Fortunately last Tuesday was a gloriously sunny and dry day. Rev. Aiden and Kevin came over from Turning Wheel Buddhist Temple in Leicester with a hired transit van, and Rev. Saido came from Telford Buddhist Priory. Enormous thanks to all three for moving everything so carefully and for understanding when my I couldn’t work out where to put things!

So far all is going well and this property seems to have a welcoming and peaceful feel to it. There is a school nearby and I can hear the kids in the playground when they have their morning break, which I take as a signal to stop and have a cup of tea. Will write more next time.

    Dear Rev Alicia,
Glad to hear all went well. Sounds like an adventure in itself but hopefully you’ll soon feel at home.

    Very best wishes and bows,

    Fred

Thank you Fred. Cooking, cleaning and doing laundry are activities that make me feel at home – all of which I have being doing quite a lot of!

      Hi Chris,
Yes, I think it is going to be a good place. And I am enjoying the creative process of setting it up. Bought some blinds today – tomorrow’s task will be putting them up!
